Terms and conditions

Draft. Have these terms reviewed by a lawyer for your jurisdiction before launch.

1. What IQTestScale is

IQTestScale provides online cognitive ability tests and practice puzzles for personal insight and entertainment. Results are estimates produced by statistical models from your answers. IQTestScale is not a clinical, medical, psychological or diagnostic assessment, and results must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, employment or admission decisions.

2. Taking a test

No account is needed to take a test. You agree to answer on your own, without outside help, search engines or calculators. Questions are generated for each session and may not be copied, scraped or redistributed.

3. Results and payment

After you finish a test you can choose what to unlock with a one-time payment: your IQ score alone, or the full report, which adds your position on the curve, percentile, ability breakdown, answer review, AI coach and certificate. If you first buy the score, you can upgrade to the full report later by paying the difference. The exact price of each option is shown on the results page before you pay. There is no subscription: you will not be charged again unless you choose to buy something else. Nothing is added to your order automatically. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes.

4. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. Refunded results are locked again.

5. Your results link

Your results are available through a private link. Anyone with the link can view the results, so keep it private. Completed tests that are not unlocked are deleted after 30 days.

6. Certificates

Certificates show your name, score and test date, and can be checked by anyone using the verification code. A certificate confirms that the result was produced by IQTestScale; it is not an official or clinical qualification.

7. Practice, leagues and leaderboards

Practice questions never affect a test score. If you join a league, you choose a nickname that other players can see, together with your XP. If you choose to show a test score on the leaderboard, your nickname, score, level and test date become public until you remove them. Do not use your real name, offensive names or names that imitate other people. We may rename or remove nicknames and entries that break these rules, and reset XP earned by automated or unfair play.

8. AI coach

Unlocked results include an AI coach that answers questions about your result. Its answers are generated automatically, may contain mistakes and are not professional, medical or psychological advice. Each result includes a limited number of coach questions. Do not share sensitive personal information with the coach.

9. Age

You must be at least 16 to use IQTestScale, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page applies. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
